Suspect Sought in Bank Robbery: 900 Block 7th Street, NW
( Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a bank robbery which occurred in the 900 block of 7th Street, NW.
On Saturday, November 17, 2012, at approximately 1:11 pm, a lone suspect entered the TD Bank located in the 900 block of 7th Street, NW. Once inside, the suspect presented a note to the bank teller announcing a robbery. The bank teller complied with the note giving the suspect and undetermined amount of US currency. The suspect was last seen fleeing in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, black hair, 5’9-5’11, 160 lbs and 40-50 years of age.
Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
