On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at approximately 10:15 pm, an off-duty Guardian Angel was riding on a Metro train, which was pulling into the Capitol South Station when he witnessed a suspect push the victim into a moving train. The off-duty DC Guardian Angel jumped off the train and orderd the suspect to stay. The Guardian Angel then pushed the red button on the Call Box on the platfom and asked the station manager. The Guardian Angel saw that the victim’s head had lacerations and called 9-1-1. EMT arrived and started to help the victim. The victim was transported to the hospital. The suspect was placed under arrest when metro police arrived.
