DC Reads: One Book. One City. One Good Read.

The DC Public Library invites you to join DC Reads, an annual citywide book club that celebrates the joy of reading. This year, we will read, discuss and celebrate “The Other Wes Moore” by Wes Moore from October 15-November 15, 2011.

“The Other Wes Moore” tells the true story of two kids with the same name living in the same decaying city. One grew up to be a Rhodes Scholar, decorated combat veteran, White House Fellow and business leader. The other is serving a life sentence in prison for felony murder. This is the story of two boys and the journey of a generation.
