Ward Emergency Plans & Shelter/Evacuation Guides
Colleagues and neighbors, the DC Homeland Security Emergency Management Agency (DCHSMA) has developed Community Emergency Management Plans for each District Ward. The purpose of the plans is to assist neighborhoods and communities from Palisades to Hillcrest and Cleveland Park to Bloomingdale “to organize and coordinate with each other to prepare for emergencies and help neighbors after a disaster.” DCHSEMA has also created Shelter and Evacuation Guides for each District Ward.
