      Arrest Made in Quadruple Shooting in the 3700 block of Minnesota Ave NE

       

      (Washington, DC)  – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in connection with a quadruple shooting which occurred in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.

       

      On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at approximately 1:07 pm, members of the Sixth District received a call for the report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Minnesota Ave, Northeast.  Upon their arrival, Sixth District members located four shooting victims, three adult males and one adult female.  Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported all four victims to local hospitals where they were admitted.

       

      On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, 51-year-old Victor Leon Coley of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with four counts of Assault with the Intent to Kill. He was arrested by members of the Sixth District.

       

      The Metropolitan Police Department commends the outstanding police work for all who have participated in this investigation. The investigation is continuing.
