      Persons of Interest Sought in an Armed Robbery: 18th Street and Ontario Road, NW


      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in reference to an armed robbery which occurred at 18th Street and Ontario Road, NW, on Monday, September 16, 2013, between 10:35 pm and 10:41 pm. The subjects were later captured by surveillance video as they attempted to use the victim's credit card at a nearby 7-11 convenience store.  They are described as follows:


      Suspect 1: Black male wearing glasses, a light colored short sleeve shirt and black pants with a white stripe on the side.

      Suspect 2:
      Black male wearing a black hat, black shirt and black pants.

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these subjects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
