      Additional Arrest Made in Assault with the Intent to Kill:

      Unit Block of N Street, SW

       

      (Washington, DC) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department have announced that an additional arrest has been made in an Assault with the Intent to Kill offense which occurred in the Unit block of N Street, Southwest.

       

      On Sunday, August 10, 2014, at approximately 1:45 am, patrol units from the First District responded to the Unit block of N Street, SW for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police officers located a total of six shooting victims, three adult males and three adult females suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and transported the shooting victims to an area hospital where they were admitted. 

       

      On Friday, August 15, 2014, at approximately 5:10 pm, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested an adult male of Southeast, Washington, DC pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with the Intent to Kill while Armed in connection to the shooting of the six victims.

       

      On Thursday, August 28, 2014, at approximately 5:30 am, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 28 year-old Saeve Evans of no fixed address, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with the Intent to Kill while Armed in connection to the shooting of the six victims.
