      3:00 p.m. – 600 Blk. H St., N.W. – The complainant states that the suspect approached her, stated, “You know what it is”, shoved a black handgun into her side, reached into her purse, and stole her money and bank cards.  The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  The lookout is for a black male, dark complexion, thin build, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” in height.

       

       

      Anyone with information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.  Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  MPDC currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a serious crime committed in the District of Columbia.

          Good Evening First District Community,

           

          On Friday December 11, 2015, at 11:45PM members of the First District responded to the 700 block of E Street, NW for the report of a Robbery (gun).

           

          The complainant in this case states he was approached by a suspect wearing a ski mask.  The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the complainant’s cellphone and cash.  After the suspect obtained the items he fled on foot (east bound on E Street, NW). 

           

          The suspect was described as a male subject wearing a ski mask wearing all dark clothing.

            Good morning,

             

            On Monday, December 21, 2015, at approximately 10:15 pm, a female complainant reports while walking in the 600 block of H Street, Northeast, she was confronted by several suspects.  One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded her purse.  After obtaining the property, the suspects made good their escape.  The suspects were describes as three (3) black males and one (1) black females 15-17 years of age.

              Good morning,

               

              On Saturday, January 30, 2016, at approximately 11:00 pm, a male complainant reports while in the rear alley in the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast, he was approached by a suspect armed with a handgun who demanded his property.  The complainant complied, giving the suspect currency and a cellphone.  The suspect fled E/B through the alley.  The suspect is described as a black male, 6’0, skinny, last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, and dark pants.  First District officers responded to the scene and conducted a canvass but were unable to apprehend the suspect.  There were no injuries associated with this offense. 

               This case is currently being investigated by the First District Detective’s Office. Anyone with information concerning this robbery is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099

              Earlier this morning at approximately 4:00am, First District members responded to 13th and North Carolina Avenue, NE, in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival,

                Earlier this morning at approximately 4:00am, First District members responded to 13th and North Carolina Avenue, NE, in reference to a robbery.  Upon arrival, the victim reported that she was approached by 2 suspects, 1 armed with a handgun who demanded her property.  The victim complied and suspects fled in opposite directions.  Taken was a wallet and cellphone.  There were no injuries to the victim. 

                The suspects are described as black males, 6’0, slim build, wearing all black clothing, black beanie hats, with bandanas covering their faces.  This case is being investigated by the First District Investigative Unit.  Anyone with information about the above case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099.  Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text message 50411.
