      Person of Interest Sought in Bank Robbery: 3300 Block of 14th Street, NW

       

      (Washington, DC) - The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection to a robbery which occurred in the 3300 block of 14th Street, NW, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at approximately 9:35 am.

       

      The subject is described as a black male, in his late 30’s to 40’s, approximately 5’8” in height, wearing dark sun­glasses, a blue and white hat, and a blue and white striped shirt.  The subject can be seen below.

       


      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a bank robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
