This morning I spent an hour watching an Eastern Phoebe flycatching over the wetland behind my moms here in Westby. There were also several Yellow-rumped Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. One of the kinglets was quite aggressive & vocal, affording me nice looks as it flashed it's scarlet crest.
Lastly was a unusual duck which appeared to be a Gadwall/N. Pintail hybrid. It closely resembles the bird at this link (bottom of the page), with my bird showing more white on the foreneck.
