MOB, checked out Freezout this morning. A lot of young American Avocets and Black-necked Stilts at the Neck as well as around 20 Wilson's Phalaropes. Mud Road was the hot spot (no pun intended) saw one Burrowing Owl near the old barn Say's Phoebe area I hope it has a nest close by but that area is quite big. Also along the Mud road worth a note was two pairs of Lark buntings and two pairs of Upland Sandpipers. To top it off saw 28 Long-billed Curlews all along the Mud Road plus one small flock had one juvenile with the adults. All for now. good birding Larry Carter Fairfield
