The bird you saw has got to be the same leucistic Rough-legged Hawk that has now returned to the same location for at least four years. It's just amazing, the site fidelity to its winter territory. The same tree and the same telephone poles. Thank you for sharing your sighting and photo. It's so cool to know that it has returned again!
