      Some friends took a hike in the Elkhorn Mtns, the trail to Iron Mine, and found this owlet...photos in my file. They said it was 4 or 5 inches tall and did not move. It appears to me to perhaps be a N. Pygmy-Owl, but I'd love confirmation on that ID. Thank you!
