- Oct 21 2:31 AMHi all,I've made the site guide updates requested by Karl and clarified the wording as per Peter's suggestion. The OpenAir ( http://vhpa.org.au/siteGuide.OpenAir.txt ) and waypoint ( http://vhpa.org.au/siteGuide.OziExplorer.wpt ) files update automatically, you may want to download the updated versions.Cheers,JanOn Fri, Oct 21, 2016 at 8:45 AM, Karl Texler <brightvt@...> wrote:Hi Peter and Jan
Having looked at the google map on the site guide and the site guide wording, I think it would be prudent to include the orange section that Peter has marked as a no-landing zone (red shading) along with the property I detailed. The existing landing zone would presumably be shaded green.
Jan, grateful if you could update the OpenAir file to reflect this, please.
Cheers!

Hi Peter
The information that I am giving out only indicates an updated no-landing area based on feedback from a specific landowner. Other landing/no-landing areas are unchanged as far as I am aware.
Cheers!

That's how I read the present words in the site guide.Karl do you agree ?2/ The area I've marked in orange seems ambiguous. According to the site guide wording it should be a no landing zone. But Karl your diagram indicates that it may be a legitimate landing option. Can you clarify please ?CheersPeterOn 20 October 2016 at 14:12, Karl Texler <brightvt@...> wrote:Hi All--
Neil Sonneman, a landowner of a number of paddocks in the valley near Murmungee Launch (Buckland Ridge) has contacted us to let us know that he does not wish paragliders and hang gliders to be landing on his property.
Please find attached an image of the areas in question.
Jan, grateful if you could please update the Site Guide accordingly.
Cheers!
