      Hi All

      Further to below, I was advised today that a section of Coronation Avenue (basically in front of Krusty's) will be closed to all vehicular traffic during the Spartan event. This will happen on both Saturday and Sunday. This is to ensure the safety of Spartan Trifecta competitors crossing that section of road while on course.

      Pilots wishing to drive from Shuey's landing paddock to Mystic Lane will be detoured along Churchill Avenue, then to turn left onto Hawthorn Lane, then left onto Coronation Avenue. At that point, there will be traffic control will only let local and pilot traffic through. Please make yourselves known to traffic control staff as pilot vehicles and you will be let through.

      Please find attached a map of these traffic arrangements as I understand them.

      Once past Mystic Lane on the access tracks to and from launch, please remain extra vigilant for any foot traffic.

      Hi All

      Please see below a reminder from Alia (Alpine Community Plantations) about this coming weekend's Spartan event.

      The Mystic Landing Zone will be closed for flying operations as it will be used by the Spartan event as a parking space during this time. Please use Shuey's Paddock.

      There will be a lot of Spartan competitors about - please remain mindful, aware, and considerate, especially when driving up to launch.

      Hi all,

      A reminder that Spartan is on at Mystic Park this Saturday and Sunday.

      Road access to Mystic Launch for NEVHGC members will remain open. However, all mountain bike trails will be closed this weekend.

      Please note event participants will be crossing the road in two places: near where the down road enters the up road on Huggins; and about two-thirds the way down the down road.

      Safety bollards will be in place. However, please be mindful to drive slowly in these areas to ensure everyone's safety as the participants in this event are prone to extreme exhaustion.
