Group Description

This is the website for an international support group created in 1998
for adult patients and family members of children who have a rare lymphoproliferative disease called Lymphomatoid Papulosis (LyP).

LyP is a CD30+ T cell lymphoma. It is what is known as a Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL). Cutaneous is the Latin word for skin and a lymphoma is a cancer of the blood.

CTCLs includes Mycosis Fungoides (MF), Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL or PCALCL), and Lymphomatoid Papulosis (LyP). MF and LyP form a spectrum of diseases, with LyP being considered the least aggressive variety (LyP is benign, chronic disease).

Our list is also open to those who have both LyP and MF, LyP and ALCL, or just ALCL (ALCL is closer in relationship to LyP than it is to MF).

If you only have MF, you will want to join Judy Jones' support group instead.

The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation has produced a pamphlet for us called LyP Fast Facts. Please go to the Related Link on this page to order your copies today.

Please join us in helping current and future LyP patients worldwide by joining the LyP Registry which is now located at the University of Arizona. By doing so you will be helping to advance knowledge about LyP.
