Sampling of Orthodox Resources
- What suggestions would you all give to someone looking for a good sampling
of Orthodox thought and teaching across various 'schools', 'tendencies' or
'traditions'? For instance, just reading Schmemann will give you one school
of thought in Orthodoxy, but not be representative of it all. Same with Fr.
Seraphim Rose and Pomazansky, same with Hopko and Tarazi, same with Behr and
Breck, Ware, the writings of various Athonite Fathers (including Elders
Joseph and Ephraim), etc.
What books would you suggest? What online resources would you point to?
Remember, this is not just for the 'best' resources in anyone's personal
opinion, but a good sampling of resources representative of where Orthodoxy
is, both here in America and beyond.
