Group Description

With British interest in Tahiti & the South Pacific, we meet with the lives of the crewmen of these historic British ships & the lives of the Islanders that they encountered. We discover the causes and effects that each culture had upon the other, & follow them throughout the 18th & 19th ceturies & what has become of them & their descendants up to today!
We will learn of other British ships that visited Norfolk, Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji & Tubuai along with charting & encountering other South Pacific Islanders with British whalers & sealers.
