Group Description

This is a group for runners who reject the "common wisdom" that runners need high carbs to run well. We are here to share our exeriences and ideas.

We tried eating high carbs, we carbo-loaded before each race, and we did well, but always carried 5-10 extra pounds that could not go away, felt tired, never really enjoyed longer runs, and "hit the wall" from time to time.

We are here to show to the running world that we can enjjoy a low-carb nutrition and still run well, race strong, enjoy running more, and feel better overall. We eat low-carb for general health and good running.
