      That's why you take a level of rogue so that you can sneak attack/
      flank him within that 30 feet. 1d6 is now 2d6. Sounds better to me
      already. And if he's a wizard.. well i'm sure he can get a nice bow
      that can do some sort of shocking, flaming, cold or other damage
      also. Though it would take some time to get i'm sure.
