      Hello,
i need the wget -r for downloads on my Linkstation.
My Linksation is a LS2 (MIPS based)
      Wget shows the following switches.

      bash-2.05a# wget
      BusyBox v1.00 (2005.08.06-22:16+0000) multi-call binary

      Usage: wget [-c|--continue] [-q|--quiet] [-O|--output-document file]
[--header 'header: value'] [-Y|--proxy on/off] [-P DIR] url

wget retrieves files via HTTP or FTP

      Options:
-c continue retrieval of aborted transfers
-q quiet mode - do not print
-P Set directory prefix to DIR
-O save to filename ('-' for stdout)
-Y use proxy ('on' or 'off')

      bash-2.05a#

Is it possiple to implement a full wget or does anyone have a script to
      substitut the -r

      Greeting
      Arne

i have unpacked the mipsel debian package for you from
        http://packages.debian.org/stable/web/wget

        download it somewhere with
        wget http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0025690/mips-binaries/wget

currently wget is only a symlink to /bin/busybox on your LS2.
find out where this symlink is:
        which wget
(most likely it will be /bin/wget)

delete the symlink and replace it with a the full version:
        rm /bin/wget
        mv <path_where_you_downloaded_wget>/wget /bin/wget
        chmod 755 /bin/wget

        thats all.
