Linkstation attached USB drive "slows" web interface
Just got a LS 120 drive (freudian slip) with 1.44
firmware. I had a WD250GB Firewire/USB20 that I wanted to add to the
LS drive. When I hook the drive up, and then try to manage the
drive through the web interface, every web access to the LS is 1) very slow 2) causes the "read" light on the USB to
go solid for some long time 3) never really allows me to manuver around with
the web interface.
The only hack i have done is the root password to
allow root access to telnet.
Thoughts, Chants, Spells?
BTW -if I unplug the USB - the interface works
fine. BTW2 - share access seems to be unaffected.
thanks in advance ler
