This is nothing major but if you like things done right under your
roof take a look...It will lead you to clean up your Linux
      installation.

At the telnet prompt type: $PATH

      You will get this:
      bash: /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games:/usr/local
/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin: No such file or directory

Notice the path is searching two directories that don't exist in the
      tree:
      /usr/bin/X11
      /usr/games

To fix that, edit your "profile" to remove these bad paths:
      cp /etc/profile /etc/profileORG
      chmod 777 /etc/profile
      vi /etc/profile
      chmod 755 /etc/profile

Test the result by loading your new profile:
      source /etc/profile
      $PATH

Great, you have just killed a micro-bug off your Buffalo!
      Sam.
