Here's a sort of 'unified field theory' for the politics of a free society; as discussions can be more meaningful and may be more beneficial if people
      define their terms.

PUBLIC morality: that which is right/wrong for all persons.

Libertarian 'public morality' can be thought of as reciprocal physical autonomy for each person. It is consistency to a 'physical aggression truce' that can be expressed as: each person may to do anything that they individually choose of their own free will EXCEPT initiate, or do a credible threat to initiate, physical force against the person or justly acquired possessions of another (yes, this does address fraud)

PRIVATE morality: that which is right/wrong for persons in private
association (congregation, civic club, business and so on) The specifics
can be as arbitrary as is mutually agreed upon by consenting persons in
      voluntary association.

PERSONAL morality: that which is right/wrong for an individual person. This
will usually be some combination of PUBLIC and PRIVATE 'morality' chosen by
free will of the adopter of this personal standard.

Identifying a common principle; pack majic or libertarian ideal?

People will build society around a common premise or principle, consciously
or not. For most of human history the principle was 'pack mentality'
usually (but not always) with a 'tribal' leader; on a small or large scale.
Politicians love to play various 'packs' or 'clusters' off against one another to enhance power; 'divide and conquer' Most of human history until a few hundred years ago was 'authoritarian' and, for most folk, hopeless.

Libertarian idealism offers a consistent broadly inclusive principle that is
successfully competing with the terrible old order of authoritarianism; and
providing hope for the future. The process of replacing authoritarian 'pack
magic' with a 'truce' between 'peers' commenced on a large scale about 200-300 years ago and built upon the innate 'physical aggression truce' that made some degree of social life practical and beneficial. 'Universal peerage' (like 'equal before the law) facilitated by a growing consciousness about the advantages of keeping consistent to the 'truce' has become the potent engine for transition to a worldwide free civilized society; the fruit of libertarian
idealism in human history and future.
