Group Description

This is NOT a Freegle re-use group!

Click here to join your local Freegle group.

This group is a forum for members of local re-use/recycling groups in the East Sussex area to discuss any topic related to recycling/re-use; to provide peripheral options for members which are not allowed on the regular re-use boards - such as bootfair announcements, services, community event info, etc. However, the Cafe is *not* to be used as a sales group.

Feel free to:

• Ask for help - If you've got a "How do I?" or a "Where can I find?" sort of question, about recycling, environmental or local issues, then this is the place to seek answers from your helpful and knowledgeable fellow members!

• Discuss your re-use group - We welcome all comments, both positive and (constructively!) negative, about the local groups or the concept in general. Feel free to ask questions about how to best use your groups. Publicity ideas and offers of help are always very welcome too!

• Introduce yourself - Tell us how you heard about your re-use group, which group(s) you belong to and why you joined, etc...

Cafe rules:

• Only open to members of local re-use groups - Membership is subject to approval to ensure corresponding membership of a re-use group

• First post is moderated

• Zero tolerance of Mod or Member abuse

• No offers/wanteds/selling

• No spam/scam/virus/internet, etc. warnings - no matter how well-intentioned!

• No Selling

• No Offers/Wanteds

• This group will not be held responsible for breakage/loss of items that are swapped or borrowed, or for damage or injury caused by items you have borrowed.

Looking forward to meeting you and having some useful, friendly discussions!
