This group is for law students and recent law school graduates who are or have attended a U.S. Law School (even those who quit before graduation or who have tried unsuccessfuly thus far to pass the bar) to discuss emotional challenges/issues associated with attending law school, study for the bar, trying to find a job and/or the practice of law. In short, this group is a emotional support group for anyone feeling a great deal of pressure in law school or early in their career. Seasoned praticing attorneys or law school graduates in a non-legal field who want to mentor others are welcome as long as the focus remains the issues of students and recent graduates. Althoug grades are important, this group is not meant to be a "how to get good grades" group. There are many books available on the topic. However, what I believe is missing from most information regarding law school and the practice of law is information on surviving on an emotional level. (regardless of grades, class rank or one's status a new attorney). This group is meant to be a safe place for people to express their opinions, experiences, successes, disappointments and fears with out concern of how it may look to their peers or professors.
