From that perspective, it seems that revolutionary agitation (properly
conceived and carried out) would strengthen the hand of reformist
forces -- not by revolutionaries becoming reformists, but by
revolutionaries being the best revolutionaries they can.

This point is old news in certain Marxist circles, as I understand it.
I believe there's a historical quote associated with somebody or other
from the old-timey Second International-esque Socialist Party of Great
Britain which goes something like this:

"If it's reforms you want, go for revolution."

I hate to rain on your parade here, but this all seems totally abstract.

If you don't engage in grubby politics, exactly what is all the "revolutionary" reform about? Where does it happen? Who? How?

When you say "by revolutionaries being the best revolutionaries they can" it sounds to me like Pollyanna in her red Mao suit saying, "every day in every way I will become better and better."

Since by becoming a better "revolutionary" I don't think you mean going to the gun range and becoming a better marksman, exactly what do you mean?

No such thing as "revolutionary reform". That's not what I said.

All is revealed in Chairman Konkin's Little Black Book, comrade.

I should add that revolutionary activity can be understood as not just
counter-economic activity, but advocacy and related educational work.
We're in phase one right now and that's largely how Konkin described a
phase one "movement of the libertarian left" [not to be confused with
the Movement of the Libertarian Left (tm), a subsidiary of Schulman

Okay and thanks. I wasn't trying to be snarky with you, but your rhetoric seemed to outstrip the content.
