      Dear all,
I'm Jodie from the Centro Navarra de Autoaprendizaje
      de Idiomas (CNAI)in Pamplona, Spain.It's a public
limited company of the Government of Navarra
      (Education Department).

We're setting up a self access centre for language
learning with a strong emphasis on multi- media and
e-learning.Hopefully we will be ready for the new term
which begins in October. We have been running pilot
summer courses which have been very successful.

I'd be interested in finding out as much as possible
about SiG and what it has to offer.
I'm especially interested in 'virtual projects' and
      their application to language learning.
I look forward to receiving any suggestions.
      Regards.
      Jodie

          Hi Jodie,

I am writing from the place where I work, UCOIDIOMAS
S.L., a department from the University of Crdoba
devoted to Languages teaching. This year, we will try
to improve a "Virtual Lab", which is running since
last year. I recieve a grant last year to work in the
proyect and I will go on this year working in the same
          place.

I like this so much that I am thinking of writing my
thesis on New Technologies and Second Languages
          Acquisition.

The main aim of this "Aula" is giving students the
possibility to make up classes through the internet of
visiting the room here at UCOIDIOMAS by means of a
program called WebCT. For these reasons all the
teachers from the 5 languages taught here, must enter
          their exercises into the computers.

And that's all. If you need something, please make me
          know,

          Best Wishes,

          Maria

P.S. By the way, do you have courses on line to know
          mere things about e-learning?

              Hi

I just want to introduce myself. I'm Chris Baldwin, based in Verona, Italy. I teach mostly secondary school kids, but also a few adults in both state and private school. I've just finished a master's in TESOL with Aston University. I'm interested in all aspects of CALL, but particularly wikis.

This is a site that I have made to use wikis in writing teaching:

              http://seedwiki.com/wiki/big_ben_exam_writing/

Another site which I am currently developing is this:

              tesol.weebly.com

This site is for master's students of TESOL to upload and download their assignments. The idea is rather than letting finished assignments be forgotten, they can be uploaded onto the site where they can be used as a resource by other students, researchers, or anyone else interested.

The site is a trial version at the moment, with only my own work on it, but there should be some more assignments coming soon from other students/ex-students.

If anyone has any comments, ideas, or assignments that they would like to upload, please give me a shout.

              Have a good one
