    I use a Zagg keyboard/case and really like it. You can take the tablet out if its case horizontal position and use the built-in stand to have it be vertical

      I use a Zagg keyboard/case and really like it. You can take the tablet out if its "case" horizontal position and use the built-in stand to have it be vertical while you use the keyboard - better for some writing, other tasks.

      Thanks everyone for the ideas. I've spoken to a number of people about this and the idea of a keyboard seems good - Gavin suggested a Logitech (bluetooth) one (see http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/ultrathin-keyboard-cover) but as the BBC says other manufacturers have their own solutions. The ones I've seen are light and some also serve as covers. Any comments welcome. I've just bought a cover and doubtless will want another one instead ...

      I think quite a few of us will be trying this at IATEFL so maybe we can share experiences - I certainly do think we can do better than Google Docs. A friend of mine swears by Pages, which opens and save MS Word files (so he says, I have no experience). My iPad is still in the post - I bought it on Amazon as it was �80 cheaper, but the cost includes a week's wait.
