    Wow, what a reply. I knew exactly what I was getting and the word grinder was used for lack of the correct term relating to the specific piece of equipment

    The Mulch makers usually do grind it up a second time. You could also spread it out as much as you can and in a year or 2 it will be pretty much decomposed

    Had 3-4 acres cleared with a grinder, now we have a lot of ground up trees all over. Much bigger than mulch and to difficult to rake up by hand. Any ideas to

    No need to change the soil but get rid of the fabric and dont use it again. Cant make plant recommendations without more info like how much sun does the area

    What zone are you in?   Never, ever use any cloth or weed barrier. Use only a natural mulch.   Don't bother removing 'old soil' just add compost to improve
