      My sense is, with music, there would be fewer artist-made recordings, and less time and care would be taken on them, but more live performances (because more concerts--those now being much more important to artist income). There would thus likely be more live recordings, and their quality would be better because there'd be no such thing as "bootlegs." It would no longer be necessary to hide recording devices in one's underwear.

      Similarly, with books, I doubt that as much time would be made on revisions if manuscripts could be copied and distributed freely by the first buyer, so I'm guessing there'd be some exchange of quality for quantity. These predicted fall-offs in quality could later be confirmed by Langston ratings, if necessary.

      Anyhow, as John rightly says, it's not simple at all, as Johanna Blakely admits in the fashion video Roy linked. She says it would likely be necessary to get panels of experts together to figure it all out. (Of course, she may not have met Roy).
