      Full-Time Temporary Position: Bilingual (English - French)
      Marketing and Communication Assistant to Apec Annual
      International Job Fair US Director.
      Summary: your assignment consists in supporting the Apec US
      director in all day to day activities in preparing, planning, and
      organizing an international job Fair that will take place in San
      Francisco end of April 2007. Under the supervision and leadership
      of the project director you will participate in the creation and
      implementation of a marketing, communication and
      commercialization campaign aimed at attracting (aka: sourcing)
      targeted high potential individuals at the Fair in order to be
      interviewed and consider employment with leading
      international firms. You will be a full time member of a small/high
      energy local team and interacting with Apec internal teams based
      in France as well as outside vendors and partners. This position
      includes use of databases and PC based tools, extensive web
      searching, telemarketing and will require some travel (domestic,
      local and international).
      Experience: 2-5 years in similar marketing related position or
      senior executive assistant interested in marketing and communication.
      Initial Period: 4.5 months (January to May 2007).
      Education: - University degree
      - Bilingual English & French
      Prerequisite: - If French citizen-working visa/green card required
      - Driver's license
      Required skills: - High energy
      - Passion for communication, relationship building and networking
      - Organization and planning
      - Able to use PC and office + customized software after proper
      Training (Excel, Word, outlook, Powerpoint proficiency)
      - Telemarketing/phoning skills
      - At ease with web searching
      - Creativity
      - Able to work with minimum supervision
      - Administration and logistics support (filing, mailing, emailing etc.)
      - Web site management
      - Team Work and flexibility
      - Very good writing skills
      - Able to perform under tight schedule
      Nice skills to have: - Knowledge of American University
      environment (ideally attended a US university)
      Previous marketing and communication campaign experience
      Compensation: $ 3,500 to $ 4,000 per month based on
      experience and qualifications and performance bonus
