      Wandsworth Road
      Tuesday 6th August, 4pm to 6pm

The Lambeth Cycling Projects Manager has asked for about four
volunteers for help in assessing Wandsworth Road to see where
      measures are needed for cyclists.

You may recall from previous bulletins and newsletters that this road
is the focus of a million-pound safety scheme, being implemented over
the next couple of years to counter the potential effects on traffic
      of the congestion charging scheme.

The plan is to use Dept of Transport forms to conduct counts, note
any requirements, and so forth. The particular stretch of road being
looked at is between Wandsworth Rd station and Wyvil Road.

If you would like to help out and are available from 4pm to 6pm next
Tuesday 6th August, let us know on the e-mail below or by leaving a
      message on 020 8677 8624.

If you cannot come along but have some general observations on
Wandsworth Rd, do let us know as these will be forwarded to the Cycle
      Projects Manager.
