Croydon Cyclists have sent us details of a ride in November which all
Lambeth cyclists are invited to - a leisurely ride through the orchards of
Kent and crossing the river Medway near Yalding; Horsemonden and
      Staplehurst.

Sunday 18 November. Meet at London Bridge station 9:30 for 9:37 to Headcorn

Based along the lines of the very successful Saturday Walkers Club, we use
the Ordnance Survey Cycle Tours book (24 One-Day rides around London)
published by Philip's for a good day out. It's got full OS maps so you won't
      get lost!

Nice and flat. Choice of 19 or 29 miles returning early from Paddock Wood or
late start option joining us at Paddock Wood, the full trip is circular from
Headcorn. This is a ride for people who enjoy a sense of place rather than
fitness fanatics. The concensus feeling on last months ride was arriving for
lunch with an energised sensation, not tired at all. So why dust of your old
bike and come and join us?

Main ride - London Bridge (9:37) buy return to Headcorn (arrive 10:34).
Late start option - London Bridge (10:37) to Paddock Wood then meet us at
lunch,Castle Hill at approx 1:15pm (3 miles SE of Paddock Wood, return form
      Headcorn.

Contact Andrew Kennedy, 32 Chatsworth Road, Croydon CR0 1BN,
ajk@... Tel: 020 8681 8011 for further information and to
book or Mobile on the day 07973 285 548

Bring Lights and Waterproofs, the book or OS Map LR 188. This is a
self-organising event. It's nice to ride together but you remain responsible
for your own safety and well being at all times.
