      If you have a haze or fog on the inside of the corrector it WILL without any doubt impair
      performance; minor dust and streaking will not greatly reduce the telescope's performance,
      but a uniform coating of haze will greatly cut down on light, resolution and contrast. By
      all means it should be cleaned.
