Burglary, Grand Theft Suspects
- SSA SECURITY ALERT
On Tuesday, October 13, 2010, in the earlyafternoon, two suspects entered a
clothing store in the 200 block of N. Larchmont Blvd. Bothsuspects were
described as attractive female Armenians,in their early 20’s. Both wore
expensive clothing and one was carrying apurse the victim indicates was also
very expensive. The suspects, afterspending some time in the store, trying on
clothing, fled the store with over $1,000worth of clothing they had tried on, failing
to purchase any item. A store clerkchased the suspects; however they were
able to escape, after entering and drivingaway in a vehicle described as a gold Toyota Highlander, SUV,parked in front of 150 N. Larchmont. It is unknown if the vehicle platewas from Californiaor an out of state plate. A partial plate number of 1V6_452 was obtained. Because of security video cameras and equipment the victim utilizes
inside the store, identifiable video andphotographs were obtained and have
been given to LAPD, Wilshire Detectives.
Both of these burglary and grand theft suspectswere identified as the same
suspects who committed similar thefts, aday earlier, on Monday, October 12th, in
stores also on Larchmont Blvd.
