I have been working for months now on the stop sign issue, and or speed humps along Rosewood Ave. between Gower St. and Plymouth.Thank you to all who signed the petition. I sent the petition in with video tape of the traffic issues in our neighborhood a photo of the Feb. i6 crash on Rosewood & Plymouth and copies of petitions that were denied year after year on March 10, 2005 to City of L.A. Dept. of Transportation Neighborhood Traffic MG. Section. Within two days after they received the petition, they came out and put monitors on the streets of Rosewood,Gower, and Beachwood for 24 hours. I contacted Councilman Tom LaBonge's office, who I also handed in person the same video and signed petitions to Mr. LaBonge and spoke to him concerning the traffic issues, and they were aware of our streets being monitored for traffic control.LaBonge's office said they will support us through the process.I contacted the Department of Transportation this morning to get the results of their survey and had to leave a message.I am waitng to hear back from them.As soon as I hear something I will post a message.
