There have been two home burglaries on N. Bronson Ave. in the past
      few days.
A house in the 300 block was burgled on Tuesday. During daylight,
the burglar(s) broke a front window that is screened from the street.
      Apparently, some electronics were taken.
On Friday afternoon, two men and a boy about eight years old
gained entry to a house in the 400 block. First, they ripped out two
screens along the driveway, but were unable to force open either
window. So, they used a large pry bar to force open the front door. A
neighbor who knew the homeowners were away heard the wood around the
door lock splinter, saw the open door and called 911. The driver of a
white Dodge Caliber with low-rider modification apparently saw the
neighbor with his phone and contacted the burglars. They fled in the
      white Dodge before police arrived.
Would-be burglars also damaged a window screen on the home next door.
