      • Bureau of Street Lighting's new web address for outages• Emergency Management Department's disaster preparedness toolkit and videos
      • LAPD Goodwill fundraiser until April 6 and• Fire Station 29's 100 anniversary celebration on April 16 with a pancake breakfast (please RSVP)

      •TheBureau of Street Lightinghas introduced a new interface to report light outages in the city:http://bslonline.lacity.org/apps/slomap.html
      •Our Council office announces aNeighborhood Disaster Planning Toolkit.In serious emergencies community members must be prepared to help one another until support becomes available. The Emergency Management Department site has many resources including a tested Neighborhood Disaster Plan.       •LAPD Olympic Division is hosting a Goodwill fundraiserto support officers participating in the Police Unity Tour bicycling from New Jersey to Washington DC to bring awareness to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund for police who have died in the line of duty. They are asking for clothing, blankets, books and other small items. Call SLO Joe Pelayo ( 213.793.0709) before or come to the station (1130 S. Vermont) onApril 6 from 9 to 3with bagged items to donate.
