      LAPD has warned us to not throw away mail containing our identifying info; remove and shred name/address/phone number and always shred credit card offers, old bills/invoices......overlooking the importance of these small steps puts our identity at risk!

      Last Friday morning around 7:15, I saw a navy blue Ford Explorer, (license plate something like JF532) driven by a 20-something Latino man in a cap accompanied by a passenger in the front seat, stopping along Norton Ave taking white papers from all of the blue bins. His car was loaded when I saw him. I left a message for Sgt Pelayo alerting him to the action. I fear that people's security and identity may be compromised by this instance.
