Please be advised that President Obama will be in Los Angeles today for two campaign fundraisers in the Hancock Park area and an event in the Burbank area on Tuesday.
The first of two events will reportedly begin today at 6:00 p.m. The president will reportedly arrive at LAX at around 4:50 p.m. and will take a helicopter to the UCLA area. From there, Sunset, Santa Monica, Pico and Olympic (boulevards) are under consideration for the route to Hancock Park for the fundraiser. Major north-south streets between the San Diego (405) Freeway and Highland Avenue will be closed as the presidential motorcade passes.
More delays will be likely in the morning on Tuesday, October 25th in the Burbank and Cahuenga Pass area as the president visits NBC studios for an interview with Jay Leno. He then flies out of LAX at approximately 11:45 a.m. The exact route has not been shared as of yet.
Please plan accordingly if you're planning on being in these areas during this time.
