Well, if the BIOS allows you to see and mount the hard drive, and read files in your Home directory you can copy files off to USB, if you need to. I think thechi_joan_pc
thank you i succeeded in booting a puppy live cd but i did not succeed to use or install smartmontools to check the hard drive sata0 what shall i do? thank you
