The North America Planning Director will be responsible for all planning functions from strategic to tactical in the Logistics department. Strategic activities include network optimization, executive S&OP, SKU rationalization, and risk management. Tactical activities include demand and supply planning, returnable asset management, master data management and inventory optimization.
This position requires vision and energy to reengineer planning operation focused on best people, processes and tools to support short and long-term financial objectives
The Planning Director will work closely with Transport, Warehouse & Business Services Center (order fulfillment) Directors to achieve monthly and quarterly shipping objectives at lowest total landed cost as well as on department projects. Additionally, he/she will work with counterparts in Sales to ensure accurate forecasts and high service levels in an extensive VMI environment. Finally, this individual will collaborate with Supply on new product introductions as well as network allocations

Demand Planning and S&OP
Manages Demand Planning for the zone and ensure proper S&OP process from regional, national and executive level
Responsible of delivering SKU level forecast by wholesaler for VMI operation
Owns customer delivery performance
Responsible for supply network optimization across 12 breweries, ~600 SKU's and more than 700 wholesalers
Establish management control and reporting standards to ensure lowest landed cost and provide visibility into gaps with budget.
Create and communicate production and distribution operating plans
Innovation & Decomplexity
Responsible for the introduction of innovation/ new SKU's in terms of planning and MDM
Also responsible of Decomplexity: annual cross-departmental SKU rationalization
Other: Asset Management, MRP, MCC and MDM
Manage returnable assets for NAZ, including pallets, kegs, etc.
Responsible for master data integrity to support supply chain tools and process
Responsible got MRP process Materials replenishment and availability supported by JIT
Develop and execute planning for Metal Can Corp (MCC): vertical operations supporting NAZ breweries and other customers.
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Supply Chain related) and MBA required
Black Belt certification ( or similar ) preferred
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including:
Logistics network modeling, linear programming, production & distribution planning, inventory management, transportation
Operations FMCG production & warehousing, distribution centers, wholesaler & delivery
Strong knowledge of FMCG industry
Proven leadership and management skills with demonstrated experience in leading and driving change within a team
Deep understanding of supply chain processes and how they affect the business, along with a demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into an executable plan and then get the plan done.
Detailed and results oriented project management on several projects at the same time.
Prepared to organize the operations team and mobilize them to achieve a common company strategy
Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel
Strong analytical skills.
