Re: Jim Harmston Passes Away
- Does anyone know anyone from the True and Living Church? Does anyone one know what they plan to do for his memorial. I'm in Utah for the summer hoping to meet with Mormon Fundamentalists as part of preliminary research into a possible anthropological project on Mormon Fundamentalism. I was hoping to going down to Manti to talk with people from the True and Living Church anyway. Now I'm really curious what the future holds for them.-Jordan

Subject: Re: [LDSgroups] Re: Jim Harmston Passes AwayBaha'u'llah died in 1892. Thus by 1890/1891 his mission was almost over.
For Baha'is I think the Second Coming is either 1844 for the declaration
of the Bab or in the case of Baha'u'llah his ministry did not beging
until 1853 [when he had his vision while in prison] or 1863 [when he
made his declaration in the garden].
Also the Bab made his declaration in May 1844 a month before Joseph's
death. Did Joseph lose his prophethood a month before he died and it was
given to the Bab?
I don't see how those dates jive with what Joseph Smith said.
