About Los Angeles For Visitors: Granite on Rodeo Drive, Blues Fest, Labor Day

Long Beach seams to be party central this Labor Day weekend. In addition to the Blues Festival at Cal State Long Beach, and the Long Beach Greek Festival, there's an Art Deco Festival on the Queen Mary, a Hula Festival at the Terrace Theater and a Women's Music Festival on the Beach. It's also the kick-off of the nighttime Pine Avenue Block Party at Pine and Broadway that will continue every Friday and Saturday night through October 29 in the downtown Long Beach entertainment district. If that's not enough for you, there's a Samba Contest party Saturday night at the Blue Cafe as a precursur to the annual Brazilian Carnaval in a couple weeks. For more fun Labor Day activities around LA, check out the Labor Day Weekend Events Guide.
