Scott's Oriole at Bonelli Park
- At 10 am there was an adult male Scott's Oriole on the north side of
Bonelli Park. It was in a tree between the parking lot and the green
pier. Also near the green pier was a Swamp Sparrow in a sparrow flock
that included a Vesper and Lincoln's. The Greater White-fronted Goose
family (6) was in the water between the green pier and the RV Park.
This family group has been at Bonelli since at least 10/04/06. When
we first observed the group the first year birds were noticeably
smaller than the adults.
