KRESY-SIBERIA discussion group
Research, recognize and remember Poland’s citizens and fighting for freedom and survival in occupied eastern Poland and in forced exile during World War II _______________________________________

Kresy-Siberia" was established on 17 September 2001 by Stefan Wisniowski, descendant of 3 generations of Polish Sybirak deportees. It is for people with an interest in the WW2 fight for life and libertyof over millions of Poland’s citizens in eastern Poland (Kresy) of all faiths and ethnicities (Polish, Jewish, Ukrainian, Belorussian, Catholic, Orthodox, etc.) persecuted, killed, arrested or deported to forced labor by the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany (joint 1939 invaders with the Soviets), or nationalist Ukrainian militias. We also include the victims of the Katyn massacres and Poland's military and civilians in forced exile during the war.

This history was hushed up by the Allies to protect the reputation of the Soviets, an important ally against Germany after 1941. Over 70 years later, we bring together the Survivors and their descendants to preserve and share their experiences.

PO POLSKU: Niektorzy w grupie Kresy-Syberia mowią po polsku i po angielsku, więc proszę się nie krępować pisać po polsku i przetłumaczymy treść Waszego pisma.
