Eva, i just had to reply to the above , this is BRILLIANT BRILLIANT
based on my own School experience i had severe worries about what the
Children were being taught at school, this is a personal "hobby
horse" of mine. i'm so happy to read this
thank you so much for all your hard work, this is so so important
when i was at school it would have been amazing if someone had visited
us to educate us.
Kids would be amazed by the exploits of the Home Army, as indeed i was
when my father used to tell me
(btw:the Vojtek beer is brewed in my town)
I had a good day today, i went to Macclesfields newest Polish shop,
the owner said my Polish was good and gave me a magazine for free!
I've been corresponding with the Lviv tourist board, and they were
more helpful than i expected, the websites bias worried me but they're
really friendly if you email.
I've also contacted the Association of Poles in Lwow, if they can't
help me i'll be back on here bugging you guys about Szczepio &
Toncio, and the Lwow dialect! :-)
