Hania words, are words in my heart that I cannot put in writing, deepest sympathy for your loss and greatest honour to your mamus, a true hero.
Wishing heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. Those we love never go away, they walk beside us everyday, and a mother's loss is the first sorrow wept without her. No better place than in this Group to know how very true these words are and how close those who have passed on are to us in everything we do.

It is with the greatest sadness that I write to inform you that my lovely "Mamuś" passed away Saturday evening, she was 87 years old and had suffered with dementia for the last 9 years. Thankfully, God decided enough was enough and joyfully to her to him to join her husband, parents, brothers and sisters. At the time of her death, the loudest clap of thunder was heard and lighting kept flashing across the sky, my sister and I smiled at each other as she said "Mamuś has just arrived in heaven and fireworks have been set off to welcome her home".
Mamuś and her family were deported on 10 February 1940 from their home Osada Stefanówka, Zdolbice to Szyczenga Wologodsk. They were kept there for 19 months and then made their way out of Russia to Palestine. Mamuś was Junaczka for a time and ended up in the RAF.
I was, am and will always be so very proud and honoured to have been her daughter.
