Is there anything out there about life in this transit camp? In my mother's tape she talks of harrowing experiences in hospital and with the camp authorities. We stayed there a few months before being tranported (how? by sea, by train?) to Bombay to be put on a ship to Mombassa. I am sure there are other people out there who went through the same route.
Would appreciate any info.
Thank you - Aniela (N.Z.)
